More than fitting the parts
An expensive collection of components is not a finished PC
A good build is not only about making the machine switch on. The cooler must suit the processor and case, memory settings need to be stable, cables and fans should support sensible airflow, and the whole system needs checking under real load.
I approach every build as a complete machine. If a component choice does not make sense, does not fit or is poor value, I will say so before it becomes an expensive problem.
Correctly matched
Case clearance, motherboard support, memory compatibility, power requirements, cooling capacity and available connections are considered together.
Carefully assembled
Components are installed methodically, cables are routed neatly and cooling is arranged around the actual hardware rather than appearance alone.
Properly tested
Temperatures, stability, memory, storage and graphics operation are checked before the machine is handed over.
